Viktor Gyokeres

Arsenal have got big Alexander Isak update amid Viktor Gyokeres agreement.

Viktor Gyokeres transfer news

In the summer transfer window, Arsenal will almost certainly look to add a striker to the mix. Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyokeres, and Benjamin Sesko are potential options for the upcoming summer window.

The Newcastle’s star has been great this season so far. And helped his team towards a brilliant Carabao Cup win with some key goals. Meanwhile, Sesko has been regular goal-scorer for RB Leipzig in Germany. And even has a agreement in place that is allowing him to leave this summer.

Gyokeres is back to scoring goals for Sporting CP in Liga Portugal. He had a tough couple of weeks due to fitness issues. Prior to the summer, he had already signed a potential transfer after a major agreement was reached.

Florian Plettenberg at Sky Sports Germany states he could leave Sporting at a cost of between £50.2m (or €60m), and £58.5m (or €70m). As his timeframe approached with a couple of other transfer windows as well.

Currently the Swede has drawn links to Nottingham Forest. But the move is unlikely to happen.

The attacker has also been linked with Manchester United. There he might join the former Sporting manager Ruben Amorim. However, they won’t be able to offer him Champions League football next season. That would lead them to fall behind in the race for potential move.

Isak’s move update

Liverpool and Barcelona are closely tracking Isak’s situation. That means the Gunners are not the only team with an interest in the talented young player.

Spanish publication El Nacional has reported that he is interested to join Barca. But it will be difficult due to their financial situation. And he would join the Reds if they were to come in with an offer
