Manchester City star player Rodri recently won his first major trophy with his nation. After winning the Euro 2024, Rodri praised former Manchester City player and England international Cole Palmer for his performance at the international level with England. After beating England, the Spaniard came to the media and talked about his former teammate Cole Palmer and also praised his recent performance.
Spain again hit the summit of any major tournament after the absence of 12 years. The last time they won a major tournament was back in 2012 when they won the Euro. So after more than a decade, the Spanish team achieved something in the major tournament. Spain midfielder Rodri is very happy about this achievement. The three Lions scored several last-minute goals in this tournament and also scored goals after conceding one. The final wasn’t different, after conceding the opening goal, England were back in the game thanks to Cole Palmer’s goal. But it was Spain who had the final say. Heartbreaking for the Three Lions, as their run continues without a trophy in the major tournament since 1966.

Rodri already had an experience of playing with Cole Palmer. Both have played under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. In the last summer transfer window, Palmer made a move to Chelsea for more playing time. Since then no look back for Cole Palmer, the 21-year-old had an outstanding season in terms of personal achievement.
