Real Madrid ‘prepared to let Eden Hazard go’

Chelsea

According to reports, Real Madrid are prepared to let Eden Hazard go next summer in order to fund a move for Borussia Dortmund star striker Erling Braut Haaland.

Eden Hazard, once considered one of the best players in the word has had a torrid time in Madrid. Following his  £100 million just two years ago, largely due to injuries which has seen him spend several months on the sidelines.

The Belgium winger is once again injured. After he came off during Belgium’s semi-final clash against France.  The former Chelsea was signed to replace the Madrid club legend Cristiano Ronaldo but the story has been far from ideal.

Hazard featured in just 16 league matches during his first campaign. This number dropped to 14 league appearances last season. Making a total of just 51 appearances. In this time he has scored five goals and nine assists.

Hazard was initially signed by long-time admirer Zinedine Zidane. But Current head coach, Carlo Ancelotti isn’t the biggest fan of the Belgian winger. Having left him out for a number of big games this season.

Madrid fans have started to grown frustrated with the Belgian winger. He has suffered a crisis of confidence following his dream move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Leaving Madrid, Eden Hazard could go back to Chelsea

On the other hand reports in Spain claim that Roman Abramovich himself will make it his mission to bring Hazard back to Stamford Bridge next summer. Reports even suggest that informal talks have already begun to make this move a possibility.

Real Madrid’s main transfer target remains Kylian Mbappe. But the club are also interested in bringing in Borussia Dortmund star striker Erling Haaland. But Erling Haaland is ready to snub Real Madrid. As Haaland wants to be seen as a leading figure at his next club, and there are no guarantees that he would be willing to share the spotlight with Mbappe at the Bernabeu.
