Mane jokes to move to Marseille over Bayern or Real Madrid

Liverpool star Sadio Mane joked to pick a move to Olympique Marseille over Bayern Munich or Real Madrid. The star winger decided not to continue for the Merseyside club after six long seasons of service.

Also there’s no surity where the Senegalese would head to, but there is a strong possibility which links to Bayern. Reports on Sunday claimed that Liverpool rejected a bid from Bayern Munich of £25 million (£21m and £4m in addons). However, the winger definitely look to exit before the start of next season, following the wishes of most of his fans back in his homeland. Almost 70 percent of them believe that he should leave Anfield and look to continue his career somewhere else.

Very recently, Mane scored a hattrick for his nation Senegal against Benin an later joked about the headline. His goal tally reaches to 32 for his country and overtook Henri Camara as the country’s all-time leading goal scorer.

Mane take a dig on big teams

He said that he would prefer a transfer to Olympique Marseille over the Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich or the La Liga and UCL champions Real Madrid. But he said that jokingly and suggested to no longer discuss his future in public.

The 30-year old attended to an interview after the game in the mixed zone. He jokingly said: “You know, you’ve got me in trouble with the Liverpool fans right now. Those two teams are not bad. But I’m not a fan of those teams. You know, my team is Marseille, so I would say Marseille.”

In his 6 season for the Anfield outfit, Sadio Mane clinched every possible trophy at the club level. In the recently-concluded season, he won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup as well as played a key part in being the runners-up in PL table and their run to UCL Final. He also won the AFCON in February beating his club teammate Mohamed Salah’s nation Egypt in the process.
