Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag claims about the position of team after Luton win

Manchester United

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag says that the team is in a ‘very good position’ despite setbacks. United recently won their Premier League game against Luton Town this weekend. However, Ten Hag will still be under pressure following some tough fixtures after the international break. Owing to the victory against Luton, the Red Devils move to sixth position in the table. Speaking to the reporters in the post-match conference, Ten hag said,

Even after all the setbacks we dealt with, we are still in a position, close to the top four. And when we start to play well, when we get it done, a team that is set for couple of weeks and months. Also, other teams will get setbacks and will also drop points.

Now, we won our last four games from five in the Premier League, which is good. We are actually in a quite good position, if you oversee all the trouble we have had, we are in a very good position.

We could have made life more easy when you score goals. But I think we created many chances. First half, I observed four 100% chances. If you get the first [goal], you get the second.

Then it becomes more easy. But if you don’t score then you can always drop a ball in the box of wrong position and you are in trouble. We had to fight until the end and then it’s maybe not the prettiest, but if you oversee, I’m happy with that, we created many chances.

Manchester United will be facing Everton after the international break. They will also be heading towards Turkey for their UCL game against Galatasaray. A defeat in the game will see them getting knocked out of the competition.
