Jadon Sancho returns to Manchester United training

Manchester United

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has returned to training. Jadon Sancho picked up an injury during the international break and had to leave the national team camp. The England FA released a statement stating, “Jadon Sancho will play no part in England’s forthcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Poland. The forward picked up a minor knock in training earlier this week which ruled him out of the 4-0 victory in Hungary.”

The 21-year-old returned to Carrington to treat his injury. Meanwhile, he sustained a knock and it was not that serious. As he returned to the training immediately on Tuesday along with his other teammates. Moreover, Scott McTominay and Alex Telles have also returned to training.

This Manchester United training session was special because club legend Cristiano Ronaldo took part in his first training session. Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho could feature in United’s next game against Newcastle. But it’s unlikely that he will start the game for The Red Devils. Jadon Sancho started his first match for Manchester United against Wolves. Moreover, Raphael Varane also made his debut. Jadon Sancho has featured in three games for Manchester United and has failed to make an impact.

How Manchester United will play against Newcastle if Jadon Sancho is not available?

Things have been very bright for Manchester United lately. The Red Devils had arguably the best transfer window. Moreover, there have been shouts claiming that this is the best Manchester United squad since 2013.

Newcastle had a relatively average transfer window. But they have managed to secure the signing of Joe Willock from Arsenal.

Manchester United are still without Marcus Rashford as he is covering from his shoulder injury. Despite training with the team Alex Telles will not feature for United. Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo might not start the game.

So United could lineup in their preferred 4-2-3-1 formation.

David De Gea playing in goal. Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire as the center backs. A. Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw in the full-back position. We could see a double pivot of McFred along with Bruno Fernandes as the attacking midfielder. While Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, and Mason Greenwood play as the front three.
