Erling Haaland feeling home at Man City: Ready to hunt for more trophies!

Manchester City

Erling Haaland has stated about feeling settled at Manchester City. He is happy at Etihad and delighted by the shared winning mentality of his teammates.

Haaland wants to win more trophies for City alongside his mates. After an impressive spell at RB Salzburg earning Haaland a move to Dortmund, the Norwegian moved to the Etihad in 2022.

The striker’s goalscoring prowess is no secret. Known for his goal poaching abilities and remarkable figures, Haaland was bought by City to replace Sergio Aguero, a legend.

Erling Haaland at Manchester City: A Dream Transfer?

Pep Guardiola’s side has abundantly enjoyed domestic success in recent years. However, the Citizens just could not ace it in Europe quite then. After tweaking his lineups and even playing without a striker at one point, Guardiola was just handed probably the world’s best poacher at the moment.

And Erling Haaland delivered. He helped the Citizens won the treble in his first season at the club boasting a whopping 52 goals! Despite having been injured this season, the Norwegian has already managed to net 36 times in all competitions.

Haaland’s Happiness Sky High at City!

The Norwegian has been quite outspoken about his contentment at City. However, he has stated about the importance of having supportive teammates and sharing a mission.

As reported by Men in Blazers; Haaland stated:

“I want more. Right now my only focus is winning the Premier League and after that, the FA Cup.

I want to win more of these big trophies because the Treble feeling was unreal. Try to be successful and develop as a player and a person.

The Norwegian hits back at Roy Keane!

The striker has hit back at Roy Keane’s criticism over his buildup play.

Haaland said

“In the end you can play football without touching the ball, even if it sounds funny for some to hear that. You can do it with movements, the mental part, and the awareness.

It’s a huge part of the game. It’s not only about touching the ball. Of course you have to touch the ball but I know my role in this team.”

As long as Haaland scores, nobody cares about his number of touches. The striker’s off the ball ability and movement helps in creating space for his teammates and allows for them to play more freely.
