ERIK TEN HAG GIVES THE SAME ANSWERS TO THE SITUATION OF CRISTIANO RONALDO

The Red Devils will face Aston Villa in their final pre-season game in Australia on Saturday. They will then return to Europe to play Athletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano in their final two friendlies. Manchester United open their campaign against Brighton on August 7. However, it is unclear whether Ronaldo will be available for selection. Ten Hag ahead of the Villa game said there is no change in the situation.

He said, “No. It’s the same as last week. Of course, concerning is maybe not the right word (over his absence). I focus on the players who are there and they are doing really well. They are in good shape and I have further focus on that and develop that. I cannot wait for him to come in and then we will integrate him,” Ten Hag told reporters.

Ronald scored 24 goals and registered 3 assists for Manchester United last season. However, the club only qualified for the Europa League. Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich all have indicated that they are not interested in signing the forward.
