Manchester City

Journalist David Ornstein claims that many clubs are inquiring about Manchester City gem Joel Ndala. The City academy graduate Ndala is already attracting a fair amount of attention despite never playing for first-team. The likes of Phil Foden, Cole Palmer and Rico Lewis have all been a City academy graduate. These players have been featuring in the first-team for their club and are leaving impact as well. Moreover, players like Romeo Lavia, Carlos Borges and James Trafford have left the club earning them a good sum of money. Now, Joel Ndala is one f the most talented prospects in the City academy.

David Ornstein was answering questions on his The Athletic’s Q&A page. One of the fan asked him whether City must be concerned about their 115 FFP charges or not. He replied that ‘right now it is impossible ton forecast the outcome’ but they must not take it lightly. He then switched to the topic of Ndala saying,

“I understand the 17-year-old has already been subject to enquiries in relation to a loan and permanent move. Given he signed professional terms in July 2022, City would be able to command a sizeable fee if they cash in and they have capitalised on the elite standard of their academy in recent times.

It represents a significant source of profit and City tend to insert buy-back clauses in their deals, which keeps them in a position of strength for the future. One to keep an eye on!”

Joel Ndala can be another big profit for Man City

It is clear that Ndala will be a top-talent in near future if he gets the right guidance. Due to this, he is attracting the interest from a lot of clubs despite never been a part of City’s first-team. All this shows how brilliantly City are managing their academy boys that clubs are looking for them a t such an early age. It will be interesting to see what will be the stance of the Sky Blues on him. Perhaps, the club will love to hold him and see if he can get in the first-team by upcoming seasons or not.
