Chelsea are looking to sell Armando Broja next season

One Chelsea player looks to be closing in on a move away from Stamford Bridge. Thiago Silva’s exit has already confirmed.

And it appears another Chelsea star could follow the central defender out of the door.

Silva has been a key player for Mauricio Pochettino this season, making 35 appearances in all competitions.

However, his contract expires next month and a new one was never offered to the Brazilian.

There could be quite a few exits at Chelsea this summer as the club try to stay in line with profit and sustainability regulations.

Chelsea recently did business with Borussia Dortmund, sending Ian Maatsen to them on loan back in January.

It now looks like the two European giants could strike another deal ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Chelsea will sell Armando Broja next season and will look for a new striker

According to The Sun, Chelsea and Dortmund are in talks over the potential transfer of Armando Broja.

The same outlet has also claimed that Broja is keen on the move but Dortmund will not meet Chelsea’s £50m valuation.

The striker is currently at Fulham on loan but is not having the best spell there. Under Marco Silva, he is yet to make a single start.

Chelsea value Broja at £50m and selling the 22-year-old for that much would make him one of their most expensive ever sales.

However, it is clear that the club will not be able to sell the forward for that amount of money after his disastrous loan spell at Fulham.

The Sun’s report claims that Dortmund are willing to pay around half of that. Costing them nothing as an academy graduate, receiving £25m for Broja, who is unlikely to play at Stamford Bridge next season, is not a terrible deal for Chelsea.

Pochettino currently has Nicolas Jackson in his squad and Chelsea are still being link with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, so Broja’s time at the club is probably up.
