Amrabat waiting for Manchester United bid amidst Liverpool interest

Sofyan Amrabat hopes for Manchester United to activate his release clause amidst Liverpool heavily rumoured to sign him. Though, Manchester United has not shown any stance for pursuing the Moroccan International.

Reports also suggest that United are unlikely to sign him with transfer window deadline approaching. As per Fabrizio Romano, Sofyan Amrabat is not training with the first team as he only wants United. There are few other clubs keen on signing him.

Amrabat has heart set on Manchester United

Sofyan Amrabat was on the verge of signing for Tottenham Hotspurs last year. Even though the deal fell of at the eleventh hour, the Moroccan has been a consistent target for many clubs.

This year he is been on the watchlist of clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United. In a podcast with Kick, Fabrizio Romano stated that the chances of Liverpool in the run of signing him is barely minimal. Romano also shared that,

Amrabat has been waiting for Man United until the end of June. Almost two months, waiting and waiting and waiting. Not even training with Fiorentina, not just playing, not even training with the Fiorentina first-team. Amrabat is just waiting for Man United, now it is on United to bid for Amrabat, there is still no official bid, this week is in or out, we will see if United will present an official bid, but Amrabat was not playing tonight for Fiorentina because he decided to wait for United until the end of the transfer window, so let’s wait and see.

Manchester United made no offer yet

Despite Amrabat’s interest, Manchester United are not looking for any negotiation with Fiorentina for him. They have not made their move on this deal yet and with few days for the deadline, are unlikely to make an offer. Nevertheless, one must keep close eyes on it as things can change very quickly in this regard
