Fabrizio Romano claims that Manchester City will declare in January that Finley Gorman. A star player for Leeds United, will be joining them.
The Premier League champions and Leeds have reached an agreement, and the player has cleared his medical, according to a report from the transfer expert on Friday.
The following day, he provided another update verifying the transfer and stating that City planned to make the signing public in early January. He added that they will concentrate on signing River Plate starlet Claudio Echeverri after announcing Gorman.
Romano shared on X:
“Manchester City are planning to announce 2008 born top talent Finley Gorman as new signing early January.”
“And then focus on advancing in talks to sign Claudio Echeverri from River as negotiations have started, as revealed earlier.”
City taking proactive measures prior to the transfer window
In five games for the U18s this season, Gorman has tallied two goals and provided one assist. Though he can play on the wing or in attack, he is an attacking midfielder.
With one deal completed and another on the verge of completion. City is once again moving ahead of the transfer window.
As of right now, they sit fifth in the standings, two points behind fourth-place Tottenham and six behind league leaders Arsenal. Although they haven’t had the best of starts to the season, we should not write off City until the very end of the league if we have learned anything from the past.

Manchester City has a strong track record when playing Everton, and they hope to continue that trend by winning this game. Despite their recent poor performance in Premier League games, they will be eager to respond and re-enter the title fight. It appears likely that they will win away.
At Goodison Park, Manchester City has a strong scoring record, having scored two goals or more in six of their previous seven visits. This will probably be another high-scoring competition.
