Bayern Munich winger Coman has undergone a heart surgery

Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman discovered an irregularity in his heartbeat. According to Sky Sports, the Bayern Munich medical team did a long-term ECG and carried out an operation.

Previously, Coman came off the bench in Bayern Munich’s 3-0 win against Barcelona in the Champions League. Julian Nagelsmann “He had a faint additional heartbeat, a minor hearth rhythm issue”. Moreover, the Bayern Munich manager claims that the player won’t be able to play for more than two weeks.

Coman still has a little wound from the surgery and has to recover from that. Meanwhile, after the recovery he would have to go through rehab training.

Moreover, Coman is likely to leave Bayern Munich. Kingsley Coman was linked with a move to Manchester United. But Manchester United managed to resign Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus. Manchester United also signed Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Over the past 12 months, Coman has been uncertain if he wants to stay in Germany. Moreover, his representatives are trying to engineer a move to the Premier League. Coman is contracted at the Allianz Stadium until 2023. Bayern have held contract renewal talks with the player and his representatives. But his demands are exceeding what Bayern are willing to offer him. Similar to last season when David Alaba held negotiations with the club and ended up moving to Real Madrid. Coman is asking Bayern to pay him more than €20 million.

How many games will Coman miss for Bayern?

During his recovery, Coman will miss Bayern’s next few games against Bochum and Furth in the Bundesliga. Moreover, he could possibly also miss the Champions League game against Dynamo Kyiv at home.

Since his debut for Bayern Munich, Coman has scored 41 goals and made more than 200 appearances for the club.
