The Three Clubs That Have Rejected Paulo Dybala

Manchester United

A number of Premier League clubs have reportedly passed up on the opportunity to sign Paulo Dybala on a free. The Argentine playmaker left Juventus after spending 7 years at the Old Lady.

As for his next club, many would have been interested. But apparently, his wage demands have proven to be a hindrance in negotiations. Dybala wants somewhat in the region of 280,000 Euros a week, which some clubs are sceptical about.

The reported clubs who do not fancy Paulo Dybala this summer are Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Which Clubs Are These rejecting Paulo Dybala?

The Red Devils would have been a good fit for Dybala, as he could provide some much-needed goal threat off of Cristiano Ronaldo. The departures of Edinson Cavani and poor performances from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial will make Erik Ten Hag look to strengthen his options up top. Dybala can provide much-needed experience to the team. He also has a good idea of Ronaldo’s playstyle from his time at Juventus.

Arsenal on the other hand, would be a rather odd choice. They have established a wing partnership of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the last couple of seasons. Although some backup is needed, it won’t make sense for the Gunners’ to spend so much money on someone who may not be the first choice.

Tottenham have been long-time suitors of Dybala. They were very close to a deal in 2019, but it collapsed in the end. It was expected that White Hart Lane can be a possible destination, but the revelation that Dejan Kulusevski has been. It makes a move for Dybala improbable.

With these three Premier League clubs out of the equation, it remains to be seen where La Joya will play his football next season. Inter Milan are supposedly the favourites to sign him. However, they too may have financial constraints. They are in a tight space money-wise and are also looking for ways to bring back Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea. Jose Mourinho is a big fan, and he plans on bringing him to Roma should there be an opportunity.
