Sunderland have reportedly decided not to sign PSG youth midfielder Edouard Michut. The deal is currently stalled due to some issues.

However, the deal is not totally off. Although, Paris Saint-Germain will have to reduce their demands for the youth midfielder.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal of Michut to Sunderland is currently stalled. The reason is reportedly that the Black Cats are refusing last-minute clauses in the deal for the midfielder. Hence, the midfielder is now set to return to France for training. Although, the deal is not totally off. But, PSG will have to take out the last-minute clauses.

The Championship club have already agreed on a loan with a buy option deal for the youth window. They have also agreed to personal terms with the midfielder. Michut has reportedly dubbed the dream signing for Sunderland in this transfer window. Hence, the Championship club will try till the end of the transfer window to complete the deal for the midfielder.

However, in other news, Sunderland have some good news. The Championship are currently closing in on two new signings before the transfer deadline day. They are close to signing Amad Diallo from Manchester United on loan. The loan deal will not involve a buy option. Sunderland are also close to signing Abdoullah Ba from Le Havre.

The player is currently on Wearside to sign the final agreement. Sky Sports transfer expert Kieth Downie has also said the club want to make more signings ahead of the transfer deadline. The owners want the club to be away from the relegation battle. The report also adds that the club are looking in the loan market for more options in the transfer window.

Sunderland currently have a new manager on board. The club have announced Tony Mowbray as their new manager. He has formerly managed Blackburn Rovers in the Championship. Tony replaces Alex Neil. Alex Neil has left the club to manage Stoke City.
