Nottingham Forest have made a comeback after 22 years away from the Premier League. It seems they intend to now make the nest of this opportunity to cement their place in the league. Till now, Forest have signed 18 players in total to reinforce their squad. But, Forest are not done as of yet. Forest are trying to sign Eintracht Frankfurt player Djibril Snow this summer. According to multiple reports, Forest are willing to invest 50 million euros and give the player a £100,000-a-week contract.

An initial £17 million of the 50 million will go straight to Frankfurt’s pocket. Along with the 17 million, there are £5 million in bonuses that will be pocketed by Frankfurt. Moreover, Sow would get a long-term contract with Nottingham Forest which will see him take £100K per week with him. Blick reporter Andreas Boni reported the deal Forest is trying to make in detail :

“Nottingham Forest has offered a 50 million euro package for Sow. It’s about 20 million euros for the transfer, five million in bonuses and then, of course, his wages. You gave him a four-year contract and, of course, that earns him over six million per year. That’s how you get to 50 million euros. But it also shows what a great development Sow has enjoyed at Frankfurt, where he was a Europa League winner. This is the crazy TV money you get in England.”

Nottingham Forest signs player number 18 of the transfer window

Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Renan Lodi, the Brazilian right back. Renan joins Forest on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid. This takes their player tally to 16 and they have spent $150 million so far on transfers. So far, Forest has had 2 losses, a win, and a draw in four of their games in the Premier League
