According to Marca, Real Madrid want to sign Real Madrid youth duo Junami Latasa and Sergio Arribas. This is not the first time Getafe have signed a youth Real Madrid player this summer. Getafe have signed Borja Mayoral, the ex- Los Blancos youth this summer. Mayoral joined Getafe on a permanent transfer following his loan move with the club. Now, Getafe look set to sign two more youth players this summer.

Latasa and Arribas are players in the Real Madrid reserve team. Junami Latasa plays as a forward for the reserve team or Real Madrid Castilla whereas Sergio Arribas plays as a central midfielder for the same team. Both have already made a debut with the first team in the 2020 season.

Latasa has a contract with Real Madrid till 2024. Moreover, he is a very interesting player to Ancelotti. However, Ancelotti has made it clear that with the quality available in the first team, it’ll be very hard to break into the first team. However, there have been speculations that Latasa could be integral to the first team this year. Los Blancos are heading to the next season without a backup to Karim Benzema this season. As such, Latasa is a good option as a backup striker.

Real Madrid reluctant to let youngsters leave

Getafe are keen to add another striker of quality to their squad. Moreover, they also need to build a squad from the ground up. This is why they are going after the youth players of the academy. It is believed that a move for both the youth players of Real Madrid is a good option for Getafe.

Moreover, Arribas and Latasa are one of the brightest stars of the Real Madrid reserve team. This is why Los Blancos are reluctant to sell the players. Moreover, they have allowed several youth players such as Takefusa Kubo and Victor Chust to depart the club. As things stand, it seems unlikely that Real will let the youth players leave the club.
