Bournemouth first season since a two-year hiatus in the Premier League begins with a tough test against Aston Villa. Aston Villa are on a mission this season to increase their chances of a top-half finish this season. Accordingly, they have been making transfers.
However, Bournemouth’s only silver lining in the clash against Villa is that it would be a home match for the Cherries. The Cherries were promoted to the Premier League this season as runners-up in the Championship. However, the first few weeks are going to be very tough for them. The fixtures include Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool in consecutive succession.
Therefore, they would have to be prepared mentally to get through these contests. Their final game before the Premier League pauses for the World Cup is scheduled against Everton. The game is set to be held on 12th November. After the World Cup ends, Bournemouth again returns on the big Boxing Day contest against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They would play the final game of the season against Everton on May 28 which would be an away contest for them.
