Barcelona have reportedly seen a third bid for Lewandoski rejected by Bayern Munich. The Poland international has been the center of transfer speculation. He has made it clear that he will leave the German Champions.
The forward has made it clear that he wants to join Barcelona. But Munich do not want to sell him this summer. The Bundesliga champions have already rejected two previous bids from Barca for the striker.

The striker made it clear in a press conference that his time at Bayern is over. Reports immediately came out that he agreed a contract with Barcelona. However, Bayern made it clear, that the striker could only leave if the deal benefits them. Lewandoski was very furious at the comments. He said the club should let him leave after all the trophies he has won.
The striker has also rejected contract extensions to stay at Munich. Xavi desperately wants Lewandoski at Barcelona. Although if the recent reports are to be believed Bayern Munich have rejected a third bid from Barcelona. The report states that Catalan giants offered €40m (£34.5m) guaranteed plus €5m (£4.3m) in add-ons. But Bayern Munich are not expected to consider anything under €50m(£43m) for the Poland international.

Barcelona actually might not be able to afford the striker. They are currently under financial restrictions. They are also locked in a fight to extend Ousmane Dembele’s contract. The club is also struggling to register free transfer signings. However, the main problem at the moment is they are unable to sell players.
Lewandoski has reportedly taken a pay cut to join Barcelona. However, his efforts are currently not bringing results. Bayern are very firm on their decision. However, the sale of Frenkie De Jong to Manchester United might free some funds. Although, the Catalan club is having trouble agreeing a fee with United.
Robert Lewandoski has one year left on his contract. If Lewandoski remains at Bayern he is surely going to depart the club on a free transfer next summer. An exit in the January transfer window looks unlikely.
