They have already secured the signing of Ilkay Gundogan as a free agent from Manchester City. Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have departed the club, leaving further space to reinforce the squad.
Nevertheless, Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, favors the idea of signing a young fullback.
