Arthur Masuaku could be set for a return to West Ham United after his loan spell. The player could make an early return to the West Ham team. Arthur Masuaku was loaned out to the Turkish club Besiktas. According to various news outlets, Besiktas could terminate Masuaku’s deal. And hence send the player back to West Ham. Therefore the player could return to the Hammers before the end of the season. However, this new news is a stark contrast to the news that came out last week. The previous news suggested that Arthur Masuaku was almost certain to join Besiktas on a permanent deal. It was even reported that the Turkish club had offered £2 million to West Ham for a permanent deal. The player had joined West Ham from Olympiacos back in the summer of 2016. West Ham brought the player for about £6 million.

He endured a tough six years at the London club before he finally joined the Turkish club on a loan deal. The new reports claim that the Turkish club wants to send Arthur Masuaku back to Hammers as he looks to sign a new player. Furthermore, it is said that the Turkish club even had the option to sign Masuaku on a permanent deal. However, it seems like they have decided against it. Even if Arthur Masuaku returns to West Ham, the fans cannot really see a future for him there whatsoever. The left-back’s poor performances and concentration have caused the Hammers enough problems. He has shocking positional awareness which has cost West Ham the game more than a few times. Many fans believe that the sooner Hammers can get rid of him, the better for the team.
Therefore it could be the case of taking Arthur Masuaku back before selling him off to another club. However, whether or not any club would be interested to sign Masuaku is an entirely different question. West Ham really have to have the proper convincing power to convince other clubs to buy the player.
