Thomas Tuchel has downplayed rumours that Armando Broja would leave Stamford Bridge. This summer, he anticipates the striker to remain with the team.
Numerous European clubs have expressed interest in Broja after he made a mark while on loan at Southampton last season. In 38 appearances across all tournaments, the Albanian scored nine goals.
West Ham are said to be close to reaching an agreement with Chelsea to sign Broja to a loan with an option to buy.

Tuchel spoke to the media during Chelsea’s pre-season tour in the United States. The future of Armando Broja was a key question among the journalists. Tuchel made it clear that he hopes the 20-year-old will stay at Stamford Bridge.
I don’t expect [Broja] to leave. I’m aware of the offers and aware of the interest. We will make a decision together, the owner and me and the player. When he arrived it was clear he is trying to impress and become a Chelsea player. After his Southampton loan, it’s clear he wants to make the next step.
We have a lot of options but not the type of Armando. Last season with him and Conor Gallagher we always have to weigh up what’s good for them and the club. Is there a prospect of him getting minutes here. He has already played in the Premier League.
With Armando we have to look at the situation very carefully and individually and decide do we have the minutes we can offer so he can grow here or give him another loan to give him match minutes.
Broja recently returned to England after suffering an injury in training. However, he can feel confident about getting minutes on the pitch at West London now. The departure of Romelu Lukaku, and the uncertain future of Timo Werner may mean more opportunities for him. West Ham have supposedly also shifted their focus to other targets, with Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca being high on their list.
