Dusan Vlahovic could be on his way to the Premier League. Mikel Arteta looks to add a different dimension to his attack. He wants a striker who brings more than what they have now. Vlahovic looks to be the perfect fit for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta. They need to splash the cash if they want to get the deal done.

Dusan Vlahovic could be available this summer but it won’t be cheap

Mikel Arteta is looking at a new centre-forward who’ll add a completely different dimension to his side. A report has revealed a Premier League move will be done if the main ‘priority’ £80m deal falls through. The deal failed to go through during the previous windows where Arsenal tried hard.

Arteta is looking for a summer signing of a striker who is ‘strong’, ‘powerful’ and will be ‘physically superior’ to play against for opposing centre-backs, per Football Insider. However, the tranfer would require lots of money which could hesitate they signings of other players.

Problems at Juventus

The Serbia international was on the move just one and half year ago when joining Juventus from Fiorentina. The 23-year-old cost a ridiculous €80m (including add-ons), though might not remain in Turin for much longer.

Due to the points deduction for Juventus they would be looking to sell him to help them financially. They are only willing to sell him for a profit. Calciomercato recently reported Juve are looking to make a profit on Vlahovic otherwise they won’t sell him. A price tag of €90 million looks more likely.

Arteta has instructed the hierarchy to help him with a more physically demanding striker. The 6ft 2in tall Vlahovic is his ‘priority’ option and would tick all the thing required by Arteta. Arsenal would look to move Nketiah on and sign a tall physically demanding striker as his replacement.
