West Ham could miss out on a player that they need the most and that is Djibril Sow. West Ham might now even stay up in the Premier League next season. Djibril Sow might be needed for them inorder to replace Declan Rice. Rice could be on his way out of the club this summer.

Arsenal, the Premier League leaders, are one of several teams in negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Djibril Sow. He attempts to find a new club outside of Germany, according to various sources.

Despite being an decent player for Frankfurt, Sow wants a move this summer. He wants to take the next big step in his career, by joining a team fighting for the Champions League next season.

In 25 league appearances so far this season, Sow has bagged three goals. During those games, Sow has an average of 1.4 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 0.7 clearances per game (Who Scored). The midfielder has made 45.6 passes on average per match and has recorded an impressive completion rate of 85.8%

According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal and several other Premier League clubs are the main clubs battling to bring the 36-time Switzerland international to England. However, it will be difficult for the smaller teams to compete with Arsenal.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be extremely happy to hear about Sow’s price this summer. Due to his contract situation currently, Frankfurt will accept a bid worth €15m during the summer transfer window. That works out at just £13.1m. The prospect of Champions league football will also play a part in the trasfer.
