Chilwell starts the match against Dortmund but g injures himself in the 70th minute of the game. Chelsea substituted him and Marc Cucurella came in his position.

This was Chilwell’s first start since November after he suffered a hamstring injury against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League. He made only two substitute appearances against Fulham and West Ham before starting against Dortmund this week.

The 26-year-old might not be available on Saturday for Chelsea’s clash against Southampton in Premier League. Marc Cucurella will take his place in the playing eleven.

However, Potter gave an update about Chilwell in his Post-Match Conference:-

“About five minutes before he came off, he had a run down the side and had a kick on his ankle.

I haven’t checked it over but I think it’s more of a kick than anything else and probably a little bit of fatigue.
