Real Madrid fans claim that manager Carlo Ancelotti has a weird agenda against Marcos Asensio. This claim comes after his spectacular goal against RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
The winger was linked with a move away from the La Liga side. There were also claims they were desperate to sell the winger.
MARCO ASENSIO EXIT RUMORS FULL STORY
According to reports, Real Madrid were reportedly ready to sell Marco Asensio. The report also claims that Madrid’s president Florentino Perez was very open to his sale. Hence, after they failed to sell, Perez reportedly instructed Ancelotti to play him in very less matches. Newcastle United, Manchester United, and Arsenal were linked with a move for the winger in the summer transfer window.
However, none of these clubs made an official proposal to buy the winger. Hence, Marcos Asensio stayed at Real Madrid. The winger’s contract with the La Liga and Champions League champions ends next summer. However, he can negotiate a free transfer in December with foreign clubs. There is also speculation that the winger will be allowed to leave for a small fee in the January transfer window.

The report also claims that Marco Asensio was furious after he was not there in the squad against Mallorca. However, he was there on the substitutes list for the Champions League game. He came on in the 60th minute to replace Eduardo Camavinga. The playmaker took his chance with both hands. He scored a beautiful goal to win the game for Real Madrid.
After the game, the La Liga club fans demanded on Twitter more game time for Asensio. A fan said,
“He deserves more minutes Ancelotti has a weird agenda against him.”
While another fan said,
“I don’t understand why he gets hate… some want him out but he didn’t receive a good offer and wanted to prove himself I don’t understand the hate.”
Hence, it is clear that Real Madrid fans want Asensio to stay at the club this season. They also want Ancelotti to give him the chance to prove himself. Asensio has only played three games this season. All the appearances are from the bench.
