Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer. However, Bayern Munich also wants to sign the midfielder.
The midfielder has only one year left on his contract. Hence, the midfielder is going to be available on a free transfer in the next summer transfer window.

According to reports, Liverpool are interested in signing Konrad Laimer. The midfielder currently plays for Bundesliga side RB Leipzig. However, the midfielder is out of contract next summer. The report also claims that the midfielder has no intentions of signing a new contract. Hence, the midfielder is likely going to be available on a free transfer.
Liverpool were also tracking his situation in the summer transfer window. However, RB Leipzig were adamant that the midfielder was not for sale in this transfer window. The Bundesliga side were reportedly demanding a fee of 35-40 for their star midfielder. Multiple reports also claim that Leipzig are trying to convince him to sign a new contract. If he does not sign, Leipzig are ready to let him go for free.
JURGEN KLOPP MUST CONVINCE THE OWNERS TO SIGN THE RB LEIPZIG MIDFIELDER IN THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW
Many reports also claim that RB Leipzig might try to sell him in the January transfer window. This is to get some sort of fee for the midfielder. Hence, if Klopp wants him, he must convince the owners to sign him in the January transfer window. This is because of the interest of Bayern Munich in the midfielder. Former RB Leipzig and current Bayern manager Julian Naglesmann reportedly want to sign the midfielder.
Bayern tried to sign him in the summer transfer window. However, RB Leipzig decided to reject any possible approaches for the midfielder. Hence, the midfielder stayed put at Leipzig. Liverpool also tried to make a late move. However, instead, they decided to sign Arthur Melo on loan from Juventus. But, there are chances of both the teams again trying to sign the midfielder on a free transfer next summer.
