Cesare Casadei completes Chelsea move

Cesare Casadei has finally completed his move to Premier League giants Chelsea from Inter Milan.

The west London outfit have paid £12.6 million upfront in order to secure the promising teenager’s services. In a contract that. This figure can potentially increase by an additional £4.2 million in add-ons should certain conditions in the contract be completed.

As N’Golo Kante and Jorginho’s contracts are about to expire, Chelsea are looking to bring in fresh blood in their midfield. Casadei has shown a great amount of promise in youth football. Chelsea fans will hope that he can perform similarly at the senior level now.

Casadei is not the only midfield prodigy to come to Stamford Bridge this season. They also signed Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa, fending off competition from Barcelona and Aston Villa. Connor Gallagher is another midfield talent that is expected to be a big part of Chelsea’s future.

I’m not so sure if we do him a big favour if we join in this discussion (about his similarities to Chelsea legend Frank Lampard). I met him yesterday here in the building. We will give him time now to learn the language, to learn what Chelsea is all about, to understand the culture. How we live here and train here on a daily basis.
