CRISTIANO RONALDO TRANSFER LINKS FULL STORY

The Portuguese forward has told the club he wants to leave the club this summer. He also told the club to accept the offers if they were around the valuation. However, Ronaldo will only move to Champions League clubs. His agent Jorge Mendes is also offering him to a host of clubs in the Champions League. However, none of the clubs have bid for the forward.

Ronaldo is also ready to take a 30% pay cut to leave Manchester United. Athletico Madrid are really in for his services. However, they need to raise 40m from player sales to even think of signing him. This is in spite of the pay cut he will take. Chelsea also moved for him. However, Thomas Tuchel is not looking to sign Cristiano Ronaldo for Chelsea.

ERIK TEN HAG AND THE CLUB WILL TRY TO CONVINCE HIM TO STAY

Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag will be trying to convince him to stay. The club is also not open to the idea of selling. However, the club understands the situation and his ambitions. Although, the chances of him staying at the club are very less. Ronaldo is very adamant that he wants to play Champions League football. The forward has also not trained with his teammates in the pre-season.

However, the reason for his absence is a personal reason. Ten Hag is however optimistic about the forward staying beyond the window. He said, “I had a good talk. That is between Cristiano and me. What I can confirm is we had a really good conversation together.” A report also has said that Ronaldo does not have any problem with Ten Hag or his coaching style.

The forward was United’s top scorer last season. He was also the third highest scorer in the Premier League. However, the club’s overall campaign was a big disappointment. Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League. They missed the Champions League qualification. This means if Cristiano Ronaldo stays, he will face the prospect of playing in the Europa League for the first time.
