Paris Saint Germain are preparing to offload as many as eleven players this summer. The Ligue 1 champions have already made some revenue from player sales. Alphonse Areola moved to West Ham on Monday following his loan spell with the Hammers.

Luis Campos has already been appointed as football advisor on the PSG board following the departure of Leonardo from the club. Leonardo’s departure follows a major review by club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. This will also see Mauricio Pochettino leave the club within the coming days.

With this out of the way, PSG will now focus on selling the fringe players. A major squad revamp is underway at Parc Des Princes. The arrival of head coach Christophe Gaultier means that PSG are hastening the process of player offloading.

PSG and the future of the star players

Marca reports that Ander Herrera, Mauro Icardi, and Leandro Paredes are some of the few players who have been placed on the transfer list. All three players have expressed their desire to continue at the club. However, PSG are looking to offload the trio to balance their books. The trio is a few of the many players at PSG who hold bug money contracts with the club.

PSG are also willing to listen to offers for Sergio Rico, Marcin Bulka, Thilo Kehrer, Abdou Diallo, Idrissa Gueye and Arnaud Kalimuendo. Kalimuendo is linked with a move to Leeds United.

The future of Gini Wijnaldum and Star player Neymar is also quite uncertain. The club would also consider approaches for Neymar. However, there is a feeling within PSG that lower-earning players may be easier to move out this summer

A move away from PSG and to Premier League is not off the books for Neymar. Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Juventus, and Barcelona are a few of the clubs interested in signing the Brazilian striker. However, very few clubs are capable of a transfer of this magnitude.
