Real Madrid could add another star midfielder Ryan Gravenberch to their squad
Liverpool‘s star midfielder Gravenberch could possibly join Real Madrid as hinted by his agent. The player’s camp suggests that if the right opportunity arrives, the Netherlands international could move to the La Liga giants.
The Reds already have one player linked with a summer move to the Spanish side. Trent Alexander-Arnold is also linked with the Madrid outfit.
As per reports, the defender has a five-year deal offer from Los Blancos. It seems like he will likely leave his boyhood team for the European giants.
In addition, Arne Slot’s side will surely be worried with the recent links of Ryan and Real. The midfielder’s agent, Jose Fortes has stated that he will be happy if the Dutchman plays for the Bernabeu club one day.
The Spanish side might also be open to see through this opportunity for the 2025/26 campaign. After Toni Kroos left the side, they have not been able to replace him as such. They still have players like Fede Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Dani Ceballos and Luka Modric in the squad.
Although, there are no signs from Carlo Ancelotti’s team in terms of signing a new midfielder this summer.
Gravenberch’s Liverpool contract
Liverpool signed the Netherland international in summer 2023. He arrived at the Premier League team for £34 million. And he has signed a long-term contract until June 2028 with the Slot’s team.
He joined the Merseyside outfit when Jurgen Klopp was the manager. He struggled to find his rhythm in his first campaign but hasn’t stopped since the second season.
The youngster has been showing his talent under Slot this season. He has been starting all games in the league for the Reds so far.
