Premier league title race is taking shape

As the Premier League title race develops, it is quite tempting to claim it as a two-horse race. However, history expects it’s too early to exclude other contenders. Currently, Manchester City and Liverpool appear the most consistent and complete teams, which means they are favorites at this point of time. According to Mirror, Alan Sherar has picked Salah, Alexander Arnold for the best Premier League team of this season.

City is still the gold standard in the Premier League. There is real depth and quality in this squad, and they have to be considered as more consistent title contenders under Pep Guardiola. Players like Erling Haaland and Rodri can propel them into something like an almost unstoppable machine, and they have shown resilience when injuries or fixture congestion has tried to fetter them. They’ve never had a spell of super-long winning streaks.

Liverpool’s continued Growth

Liverpool have been City’s biggest rivals. Arne Slot got a great fit of the side: a wonderful defense, creative midfield players, and an acute attack. From last season’s nearly won season, the Gunners appear to learn lessons, realizing they need deep squad depth with players like Declan Rice.
Broad key victories and good start in the season keep them in the struggle.

Premier League Big Six

Manchester United were the worst since when Sir Alex Ferguson was handed over in 2013.They conceded a lot of goals. On three occasions they had more players sent off than other clubs.

Tottenham: Postecoglou’s exciting new-look Spurs look set to be spoiled by their lack of experience.

Chelsea are miles off the pace for serious title contention this season and have a lot of rebuilding to do.

Newcastle United: They have looked the business but are playing too many games, including Champions League duties.

There is still a lot of unpredictability in the League. Injuries, fixture congestion, and surprises on the pitch realign the table. A quick downturn for City or Liverpool could cause another door to be opened for someone else to close the gap.
